Accessories:
Shown above is an accessory for the Top Choice feeder. These pictures illustrate how to suspend your feeder from a pen fence (shown as the square gray tubing frame as an example).  The metal frame folds flat and is adjustable to fit fences with boards or pipe up to 2" in width. You can place the  feeder frame on the inside of the fence or the outside of the fence. The 'chute' directs the flow of feed into a pail or trough (user's choice as to what the feed goes into). Also offered is a heavy duty feeder (larger capacity motor) for larger animals (horses/cows). This option including the chute and the collapsible frame costs $185. Remember  to indicate that you need the heavy duty feeder to insure sufficient feed flow rates for your animals.

Many of you have asked for the capability to connect your existing water supply directly to our water systems.


Here it is!! We integrated a float valve to our heavy duty tank cap and provided you with a one piece flow control device.

Simply fill up your tank using your water supply. When completed, attach your water supply to the provided 1/2" pvc slip joint connection. Insert the float valve into the tank and tighten the cap. Turn on your water supply and the float valve will insure that the water level inside the tank stays full.

 

Connecting your water supply to the water  system depends on how you choose to do so.  Because the float valve is designed to 'creep fill' and to allow only 1-2" of water level drop before it opens, we recommend that you provide a method for filling the tank the first time using your existing line size and full line pressure.  With the 1/2" pvc slip elbow you can literally connect any of several different fittings to make the final connection to your water supply.

 

We believe that using a garden hose connector works very well as it provides flexibility and is not a permanent connector.  When you have finished filling the tank, install the float valve into the tank, and then connect the garden hose fitting from your water line to the connector from the float valve.  Now turn on your water supply and the system is ready to give you days of continuous quality water for your animals.

 

For our friends and customers raising domestic goats we offer a metal shroud that slips over our 14”x20” water tray. The shroud reduces the available tray space to about 4-5” and will help minimize ‘foreign matter’ from getting into the water tray.
